Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) in computer science, information technology. or a related field.
- 2+ Years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
- Familiarity with system administration tools, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, or Powershell.
- Basic experience with scripting languages such as
Bash or Python.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
✓User management – Create/ drop modify
✓users at Windows servers.
✓Active directory users management, configuring
MFA. resource and group management.
✓Start/shutdown/Reboot of physical servers and VMs, running in standalone and cluster setup.
✓Adding/removing and modifying resources at windows servers.
✓Alert management-checking and mitigating alerts using tools like SCOM.
✓Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows based machines.
✓Applying security fixes and patches e.g. SPP
✓Collaborate with internal and externals teams and vendors e.g. HP, Hitachi, Microsoft.
