Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree.
- Experience: Freshers / 0 – 1 year.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one of the following: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Database Skills: Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, database definition, and schema design.
- Expertise: Background in data engineering or business intelligence roles.
- Data Platforms: Familiarity with data warehouses, distributed data platforms, and data lakes.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent business and technical communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong structured thinking skills, capable of breaking down complex, multi-dimensional problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to define business data needs.
- Design, build, and optimize data architecture and ETL pipelines to make data accessible for Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business users.
- Collaborate with analysts to scale value-creating capabilities, including data integrations, transformations, model features, and statistical and machine learning models.
- Drive standards in data reliability, integrity, and governance to ensure accurate, consistent, and trustworthy data sets, business intelligence products, and analyses.
- Engage with the analyst community to understand critical user journeys and data sourcing inefficiencies, advocate best practices, and lead analyst trainings.
